Career	For some years now Alex has been a tutor on painting holidays in France. However as a local artist the winter months provide time for teaching with Community Education in Somerset. Courses range from absolute beginners up to "A"level as well as private tuition and week-end workshops. More recently Chinese brushwork is featured in his curriculum. As "Regional Society Co-ordinator" for the international organisation the Society of all Artists, he still finds time to demonstrate to various art groups, and has gained a fine reputation as an after dinner speaker. Alex has taught GCSE & A Level art. The majority of his classes are for beginners in art He has also taught art to those with learning difficulties and is now holding classes on Current Affairs* with this category * - a weekly group debating session, to help improve communication between clients & staff. He is also the art demonstrator at Butlins.
