Career
Juan Antonio Venegas Salinas, Born in Lima-Peru on November 25 of 1964.

Artist dedicated to paint and describe Peruvian wild life, always with the idea of the necessity of wild life preservation.
Realized studies of drawing with Cristina Galvez (1985) and Fernando Marrufo (1984) recognized artists in Peru.

He studied for one year in the Institute "Toulouse-Lautrec".

In 1986 he entered to study in the faculty of the college of "Pontificial Catholic University of Peru" in which he study one year and then continued his studies with two of the most recognized animal artists in Peru, Jose Luis Arce and Carmen Ridoutt with whom he studied drawing and painting for over 3 years.

In 1988 he started his professional career participating in collectiva exhibits (over 40) and have made 11 individual exhibits. The last five have been dedicated exclusively to Peruvian wild life.

Also Juan Antonio has been an active member of the ecologist group "Vida" and worked as a volunteer in the shelter of wild animals of the institution. Lamently the shelter had to close because of lack of founds and support from the authorities
