Career | Chris has always been surrounded by artistic and creative people and therefore it does not come as a surprise that she herself took to paint and brushes.
She is a self-taught artist who started out creating leather Venetian masks, evolving into watercolour fantasy paintings, over to using acrylics and finally into mixed media on canvas.
The series "The Planets" takes you to a colourful realm of parallel worlds. The "Ode to Tibet" series is a personal favourite representing the wish to see a free Tibet again one day. All the works in this series contain the Tibetan Mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum". They are all mixed media on canvas. The "African Door" is the first of a new series which depicts doors leading to different worlds and cultures. |
