I studied Fine Art and Textiles at Canterbury College of Art in the early sixties, and started professionally painting portraits. After painting on and off over the years whilst bringing up a family, I now work in my studio in Meonstoke, Hampshire. Painting in watercolour, gouache, acrylic, pastel and oils, though mainly in gouache and watercolour. I am currently very interested in still life, but not to the exclusion of other subjects of course.

My work has been exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Society of Women Artists, and in various open exhibitions in the South of England..
