John Aston - artist

John Ashton is based at Aveton Gifford in South Devon. He paints predominantly in oil and the inspiration for his first exhibition, which was a great success, was inspired by the waterfowl living on his beloved Avon Estuary. The collection of swans and egrets sold very quickly.

After the exhibition there were many requests for prints of his works. Therefore, for the first time there are now limited edition prints of three of his pictures.

Currently, he is working on a new series - this time studies of hounds - he has finished the first part of a triptych of stag hounds in their kennels [see the website]
