| Career | I am a figurative painter who uses research into the painting of the Rennaissance and female iconography to produce symbolic and phsychological contemporary paintings. In 2003 I completed a Masters Degree in Painting. In the past I have worked within the role of community artist in various community settings with youth groups and people with special needs. I have also taught Art & Design at a College of Further Education and am currently a tutor for the Open College of Art. Primarily I focus on studio based practice nearly full time as well as carrying out theoretical research. In addition I pursue Exhibition opportunities at National and local levels. |
