I've been painting on and off for about 15 years, but haven't been very focused as I've always had to work full time. However, retirement is now looming and I plan to spend much more time improving my artistic skills and abilities, and extending my portfolio. I've attended a few short courses but I'm mostly self-taught. My main interest at the moment is portraying horses using different media. I have completed some successful child portraits in a mixture of pencil, chalk and charcoal. My other interest is still life in any medium.
