Wendy Head - artist

I trained at High Wycombe School of Art and Bretton Hall, College of Music, Art and Drama (1959 to 1963). Also more recently at Coleg Sirgar, Carmarthen (2003-2005).

I have been a painter and teacher of painting since 1963 and took early retirement, from classroom teaching, to train as an actress, at the Courtyard Theatre Training Company in Kings Cross, London, in 1990. I have been teaching art, part time in Carmarthen, for the past 4 years.

I organise workshops for art groups on request. My second solo exhibition of 60 paintings, at Aberglasney House and Garden, is finishing on 1st August 2007. (The first solo being at St Clears.)

I have exhibited in many galleries including:-

I recently moved from Newcastle Emlyn to Manordeilo and have a wonderful new Garden Studio, to which visitors are very welcome.
