Directions:
Following the A5 and A483 roads to Chirk - on the English/Welsh Border - the B4500 brings you to Glyn Ceiriog, six miles from Chirk. There is a regular bus service from Chirk mainline railway station to Glyn Ceiriog and arrangements can be made for students to be picked up from the station or Manchester and Liverpool airports.

Once in Glyn Ceiriog, just ask for 'George Jones - Hafod'.

About the Artist - George Jones
After completing Art Foundation Studies at Shrewsbury School of Art, Studied Fine Art at Wolverhampton College of Art, and Post Graduate Studies at Manchester Regional College of Art and Victoria University Manchester.

Have wide experience as a Lecturer in Art, and have exhibited in Young Contemporaries exhibitions and with Leading Shropshire Artists.

Many works sold and held in private collections in the UK and abroad. Since 1988 have also been a successful designer, illustrator and technical illustrator, but am now concentrating more on Fine Art. 
About the Courses
Arriving for lunch on Monday, and departing after lunch on Friday, students will be given full board and a total of 20 hours tuition - with access to all studio facilities at other times.
The Course is available for a maximum of four students per week, in two bedrooms, each with a double bed. the cost is £300 per student.
