Model House Craft and Design Centre

 Positioned in the heart of the historic Welsh Hill town of Llantrisant, Model House is an award-winning craft centre with Crafts Council selected exhibitions gallery and impressively stocked craft shop. The centre also features craft studios and local history displays. there is also an extensive programme of craft workshops and activity days.

We opened as a craft and design centre in 1989 and now receive about 35,000 visitors a year.
Along with an exhibition section in the Gallery which shows a varied and changing programme of contemporary craft, Model House also has studios where you can purchase work directly from the artists.

We also have an exhibition of coining by the Royal Mint and a display of recently excavated artefacts from Llantrisant castle.

The centre has an active programme of craft workshops for adults and children and special events throughout the year.
Opening Times: Tues - Sat and Bank Holiday Mondays 10.00am - 5.00pm.
Directions: Only minutes away from M4 junction 34. follow signs to Llantrisant and then brown heritage signage. A regular bus service runs from Cardiff.
