| Meeting Place | Meetings are held monthly during the winter months on Wednesdays 7.30pm in the Frome Community Education Centre in Frome Community College, (Near the "Merlin Theatre"), Frome, Somerset, England, UK, During the Summer months, the outdoor painting activities are held on Fridays commencing at 10.00am |
| Activities | Frome Art Society were founded over 20 years ago and they now have about 180 members. The Society have regular demonstrations and lectures during the winter months, while also having a busy calendar of trips and all day workshops. During the months of July and August there are pre-arranged venues booked for outside painting. The Society is open to anyone in the Frome area with an interest in Art. It provides an opportunity to meet like minded people and exchange ideas. Membership is two tier - Exhibiting and non Exhibiting members. The exhibitions (2 per year) are non selective. The membership for exhibiting members is running a waiting list. |
