| Activities | Each of our monthly evening meetings is based on a demonstration by a professional artist. The meetings also provide an opportunity for members to socialise, display their paintings and hire books and videos. Visitors may attend for a nominal fee. We arrange a number of one-day workshops and painting days throughout the year, usually on a Saturday. We have two exhibitions each year in Leighton Buzzard at which members can sell their artworks. LBAS is a long-standing art society, of more than 50 years. It is still growing from year to year and now has over 150 members. The basic membership fee is £9 per year with concessions for pensioners and others. New members are welcome. Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter to keep them in touch and there is a lot more LBAS information on the website www.LBAS.co.uk This website has a Members Gallery on which members may display their paintings for a small fee. |
